Project Manager

Job Description

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will work closely with key stakeholders across the project engineering, site teams and contractors. The position is based at Kuala Lumpur.

You will be responsible for:

• Assisting the Project Development Manager in the contract drafting stage
• Defining the project charter and the project management plan
• Monitoring the coordination of all works - design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning and defects liability periods
• Managing changes, non-compliance issues and proposing preventative and corrective measures
• Participating in the selection of subcontractors and suppliers
• Formulating budget forecasts
• Identifying and managing project risks

Desired Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate has the following:

• Tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering or a similar field
• Experience managing engineering and industrial projects
• Strong leadership skills
• High attention to detail and the ability, drive to meet strict deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
