PM@SUMMSO is a business oriented Project Management Office, combined with the well known performance management system; the Balanced Score Card.

• The function of a PMO is to support ongoing projects with project knowledge, best practises, templates & personal coaching for the project managers.
• The PMO is the “Project Brain” in a company and sets the standards and guidelines for all projects.
• The BSC is a performance management tool, usually cascaded top down in an organisation which contains a number of KPI’s based on the strategies, set by the management.

The PM@SUMMO Project Management Profit Center is customized and aligned to the existing corporate Balanced Score Card or will provide its own BSC for the Project Management Profit Center. We complement the PM@SUMMSO with the Project Management Standards provided by PMI, the PMBOK Guide® 2008 and the ISO10006:2003 Standard to enhance the overall quality and Maturity of the complete process.

The idea of PM@SUMMSO is to standardize the project management in the organisation but with highly effective methods in order to simplify the project business and to enhance the monitoring and control of the projects for faster and higher profits.

A typical implementation process is as follows:
